NEW
YORK, July 10, 2000 - A group of commercial insurance and
technology executives have founded a new company that will
provide an online information resource designed specifically
for the commercial insurance industry. The new company, Advisen
Ltd., will also develop proprietary software and databases to
offer risk managers, brokers and insurance companies new
analytic and benchmarking tools. |

The
new company's management team includes two founders, Thomas P.
Ruggieri, former managing director of Marsh & McLennan, who
will serve as Advisen CEO and chairman of the Board of
Directors, and David Bradford, a senior manager at Swiss Re,
who will serve as Executive Vice President and on the Board of
Directors. The other founders include Kenneth E. Wagner, a
former senior sales executive at Bloomberg, L.P., and Philip
Ruggieri, president of Ruggieri Consulting, LLC, a leading
insurance benefits consultancy. Both Mr. Wagner and Mr.
Ruggieri will also serve on the Board of Directors.
